New York City Ballet at SPAC

July 14th - 17th, New York City

The New York City Ballet is heading upstate! This world-class ballet returns to the outdoor Saratoga Performing Arts Center this summer for a three-day residency featuring two programs in the "NYCB: On and Off Stage". These two programs "Short Stories" and "All Balanchine" feature excerpts from some of ballet's most famous stories including Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Firebird, and more! Addict Insider: These NYCB performances are perfect for people who have always been curious about ballet but are too intimidated to take the plunge. Each program is hosted by principal dancers at the company to help provide context and history for each piece. If you are curious in more traditional ballet, fairytales, and fabulous tutus - check out the "Short Stories" program with excerpts from historic ballets. If more contemporary dance is your thing, you won't want to miss the "All Balanchine" program featuring dances by the most famous ballet choreographer in the 20th century!
