At the heart of FRAY is the power of hip-hop music and movement. "Hip hop is about finding one’s own artistic voice, and the power of that authentic expression to tell truths, to connect with others, to celebrate and even to heal," says CandyBomber Founder and Artistic Director, Kate Duhamel. “Hip hop is perfectly suited to convey the themes and feelings of the FRAY world in a way that audiences of all ages can enjoy.”
The dance theater performance of FRAY tells the story of two brothers who love to dance and play video games. As their bond is tested by real-life challenges, the games and live show interweave and enhance each other to create a truly immersive experience.

What sets FRAY apart from other performances is the incredible world-class dancers that will be featured and the visual effects. Projections and lighting will be paired with the dancers’ movement to create a dynamic and immersive environment that transports the audience into the world of the two brothers.
