Join us as we "go behind the curtain" to discover the magic of the San Francisco Symphony. All Red Curtain Addict ticket holders will have the opportunity to meet the concertmaster Alexander Barantschik, experience an amazing performing featuring works by J.S. Bach and Shostakovich and enjoy exclusive access to a private lounge to enjoy complimentary bites and drinks before the show and during intermission!

About the Concert

Celebrate the artistry of the San Francisco Symphony when Concertmaster and violin soloist Alexander Barantschik leads a rousing performance of J.S. Bach’s ebullient E major Violin Concerto. Then, experience Shostakovich’s intense and probing wartime monument, the Eighth Symphony, under the direction of conductor Juraj Valčuha.

Alexander Barantschik is from Saint Petersburg Russia and began playing the violin at age 6! Although Alexander has listened and played classical music his entire life, he loves the freedom of Jazz.
