A Night to Remember – presented by artÉmotion
Join artÉmotion for an inspiring evening at the ballet for the first annual A Night to Remember performance featuring dancers from the artÉmotion Adult Ballet Summer Intensive!
Since its inception in 2016, artÉmotion has been brining together over 100 recreational ballet dancers from around the world for an adult intensive every summer, in Salt Lake City. Dancers ages 18-80 partake in training and the creation of four world premiere ballet pieces. In the past, participants have performed for an in studio audience. In 2023, artÉmotion has moved the to performance to The Rose – Jeanné Wagner Theatre.
The performance will also feature an exciting guest performance by Ballet West Principal Artists Emily Adams and Hadriel Diniz in the 2nd Act White Swan pas de deux, courtesy of Ballet West.
Run time: Approximately 60 minutes.

MESSIAEN: Turangalîla Symphony “It’s a love song,” Messiaen said of his Turangalîla Symphony—and as Thierry Fischer leads the symphony in this 10-movement masterpiece, it is his own love song to the community he’s served for 14 years as Music Director. The work’s title is derived from two Sanskrit words that are almost untranslatable—meaning all at once love, joy, time, movement, rhythm, life, and death—and similarly, there seems to be no limit to what this mind-blowing music expresses.
