Tonight’s delightful cabaret show ‘Broadway Meets West End’ features West End star Steph Parry, fresh from her starring role in ‘Mamma Mia! The Party’ at the O2. In 2018 Steph Parry made headline news as “the girl that ran down the road” when she was called to take over the role of Donna in the West End production of Mamma Mia!, following an injury to the then current star. Steph Parry was then given the lead role of Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street, where she starred during the Summer of 2018, opposite Tom Lister and Matthew Goodgame at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Apart from her starring roles in 42nd Street and Mamma Mia!, Steph Parry has appeared in a number of other major musical productions, including Wicked, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Billy Elliot, West Side Story, Oklahoma! and The Pajama Game. In the intimate atmosphere of the Pheasantry cabaret room, join this incredible West End performer as she shares with you some of her favourite songs from musical theatre and some amusing back stage ‘showbiz’ stories. The WEF Cabaret & Open Mic nights are back for an 8th season at the Toulouse Lautrec venue ! WEF Productions was originally created to promote the integration of international artists on the London scene. Each month features a special up and coming guest from the world of musical theatre. Ilan Evans was born in Paris. When he was 6 years old his mother took him to the opera to see the Magic flute and his passion for music and stage has been ignited since. As a teenager ilan started modelling and went on to study law in La Sorbonne. Ilan started singing in jazz clubs around Paris and trained as a classical singer. This is how he met his guitarist and co-composer Cyrill Jakob with whom he formed the band Eyejack ‘Eyejack‘ released their first album in 2010 with Warner music france. They supported the british band Noisettes ; and the french band Justice amongst others. After moving to London and working with the Royal shakespare company , Ilan was cast in the French musical, ‘Gospel Sur la Colline’ at Les folies Bergere. He trained at identity school of acting and Rada; and graduated from the Royal academy of music in Musical theatre in 2020. Ilan is currently filming a new series for Amazon and can be seen in the second season of Emily in Paris on Netflix. The show kicks off at 7:30pm with a live jazz band led by Pete Saunders (Dexy’s Midnight Runners) accompanying an award-winning array of burlesque startlets and live vocals. Putting a twist on classic live band burlesque, these showgirls are here to put the roaring back into the 2020s. Kookie Blu presents: The Blu Palace Ball Kookie Blu invites you to embark on a magical journey with her fabulous friends as they explore one of the most celebrated Drag Balls, which debuted legendary Queens in West London’s Portchester Hall from the 1960s to the 80s. The Blu Palace Ball is a performance evening based on the photography of Robert Workman held by Bishopsgate Institute. Workman documented entertainer and drag icon Jean Fredericks on London’s Drag Ball scene. This will be a night to remember, so wear your best gown and enjoy the drama.

A musical theatre and cabaret performer, Denis was recruited by Churchill’s Special Operations Executive during World War Two as a spy and wireless operator. Dropped into occupied France, Denis was told to take on another identity so became a drag queen, entertaining Nazi Officers.
