WHY YOU SHOULD SEE THE GAME’S AFOOT
Because Mark Anderson Phillips (Blithe Spirit, Silent Sky) is directing.
Because we love a holiday good murder mystery.
Because the Sherlock Holmes hat is iconic.
Because scenic designer Ron Gasparinetti will create an Art Deco castle.
SYNOPSIS
This hilarious whodunit may best be described as Blithe Spirit meets The Hollow meets The Play That Goes Wrong … with glittering Art Deco flair. Set during the Christmas holidays in 1936, the comedy takes us into the Connecticut castle of Broadway star William Gillette, widely renowned for his stage turns as Sherlock Holmes. The weekend party is all fun and games until one of the guests gets murdered, and Gillette realizes he’ll have to play Sherlock for real.
