The Jungle

More about THE JUNGLE

About the performance

Meet the hopeful, resilient residents of THE JUNGLE – the short-lived, self-governing society that emerged within a sprawling refugee camp in Calais, France. Join the residents over freshly-baked naan and sweet milky chai at the Afghan Café. Take a seat where men, women, and children fleeing war and persecution created a world offering warm hospitality, amidst squalor and danger.

*Not recommended for children under age 13

More about the experience

What else you should know?

THE JUNGLE was a reluctant home for thousands of people from all over the world. It was a place where people built temporary lives and communities formed out of necessity.

The heart-stopping stories of those who inhabited this desolate patch of land in France roar back to life in this shockingly intimate and wildly acclaimed production that plunges us directly into its subject matter.

What to expect

We are doing a pre-show mixer at the San Francisco Art Exchange (across the street) for drinks, bites, and an exclusive meet and greet for Red Curtain Addict guests only. And the party doesn't stop there, guests will be given a complimentary drink ticket to use at intermission!
