A Wintery Wonderland with Red Curtain Addict
About The Experience
Did you know that the San Francisco Ballet was the first dance company to perform the Nutcracker in the United States?! This year marks the 75th Anniversary and we're excited to celebrate this special occasion with you in holiday style!
We'll start this Wintery Wonderland night with a pre-show cocktail hour at one of our favorite local patisseries (that's only a 5-minute walk from the theater) for complimentary drinks made by William Grant & Sons, savory bites made by Alexander's Steakhouse and sweets by Miette.
Our group will be sat in the Dress Circle (our favorite section in the house!) to experience the magical Nutcracker together! Afterward, we'll head across the street to the Davies Symphony Hall for a festive dance party!
Attire: Festive cocktail with holiday flair!

About The Nutcracker
About The Nutcracker
The first-ever performance of Nutcracker was at the Imperial Mariinsky Theater in Russia on December 18, 1892. It was first performed in United States on Christmas Eve 1944 by the San Francisco Ballet! Soon after, it became a holiday tradition that spread across the country and is now the most popular ballet and the most performed ballet around the world.
San Francisco Ballet's current Nutcracker (that was Artistic Director & Principal Choreographer Helgi Tomasson) is set in San Francisco!
