Based on the books by P.L. Travers and the original beloved Disney film, this double Olivier Award-winning production uses breathtaking choreography, unforgettable songs and magical effects to tell an enchanting story of family and friendship.


Seen by over 12 million people worldwide, Mary Poppins follows the world’s favourite nanny who, upon arriving in Cherry Tree Lane, transforms the lives of the dysfunctional Banks family.


The production sees Zizi Strallen (Strictly Ballroom The Musical, Follies) return to the titular role, having previously played Mary Poppins on tour in the UK, Ireland and in Dubai, alongside Charlie Stemp (Snow White At The London Palladium, Half A Sixpence) as Bert.


This production of Mary Poppins has enjoyed acclaim all around the globe. This includes a Tony Award-winning six-year run on Broadway, as well as touring stints in Australia, North America, the UK and Ireland, New Zealand, Holland, Mexico, Austria, Switzerland, Dubai, Japan and Germany. It now returns to the West End’s Prince Edward Theatre, fifteen years after its triumphant opening there in December 2004, where it played for over 1,250 performances.


Adapted for the stage by Jullian Fellowes (Downton Abbey) and co-directed by Richard Eyre and Matthew Bourne, Mary Poppins features the original music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, including the timeless tunes Jolly Holiday, Step In Time, Feed The Birds and Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. There are also new songs and additional music and lyrics by the Olivier Award-winning British duo George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, including musical classics Practically Perfect and Anything Can Happen.
