'Alice in Wonderland,' the classic coming of age story by Lewis Carroll, has been a fixture in childhoods for generations since it was written! From Disney movies to graphic novels, this tale of bravery and growing up has helped to teach kids the importance of following one's heart for decades. And now London's Royal Ballet translates the tale into dance! This wildly imaginative performance gives Alice a whole new life.

Audrey Saves the Universe

Audrey is a 9-year-old girl ... who happens to be the greatest filmmaker in the world! She is ambitious, detail-oriented, and has a sense of humor beyond her years. This inspiring little one is unapologetically herself, as she deals with school bullies and constant creative setbacks (like getting grounded!). As she stages the climactic final battle, she uncovers the superpowers she holds within her. Audrey Saves the Universe is here to inspire the young people in our lives, and the child in all of us, to believe in our dreams and ourselves.

Addict Insider: Developed by the innovative Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Audrey Saves the Universe was created specifically as a digital production. The creative team, Autumn Ness and Reed Sigmund drew inspiration from the comedy styles of Gilda Radner and directing styles of Ed Wood. The show is perfect for families of all kinds with its series of 10-15 minute episodes that you can enjoy one at a time, or binge in one sitting.

The Wizards of Oakwood Drive


Streaming Dates: Available multiple times per day each Saturday

Anyone can be a wizard, no matter how you look, how old you are, or where you live... Hailed by the New York Times as "absolutely enchanting," The Wizards of Oakwood Drive is a game the whole family can play! This immersive at-home theater experience is an all-out, winner-take-all magic spell contest that allows up to 10 kids to participate in a treasure hunt around their home (with a little help from their closest adult!).

Addict insider: "Wizards" helps create magic with everyday items you may be lying around your home. Each performance group is limited to 10 participants, so kids feel individually engaged by the performers. They will work together with other children and learn that wizard teamwork makes the wizard dreamwork, infusing their day with a little magic!

Peter and the Wolf: North Carolina Symphony


Streaming Date: May 21, 2021 at 3pm ET

We'll just go out on a limb and say that no one could watch this incredible combination of storytelling and music-making, and NOT fall in love with classical music! The North Carolina Symphony is led by conductor Michelle di Russo in this musical adventure for kids of all ages. As the first installment of the NC Symphony's "Young People's Concert Series," this initiative works to help nurture a love of music in early theater lovers!

Addict Insider: Prokofiev's 'Peter and the Wolf' has been used for decades to teach children about the different instruments in an orchestra! Kids follow Peter and his animal friends as they work to outsmart the big bad wolf, meeting each animal (represented by a different instrument!) as they go. Play along with the young ones in your life, and see who can remember the most instruments by the end!
