November 23rd - November 25th: MTT CONDUCTS BEETHOVEN'S NINTH, SF Symphony

The reason why we love Beethoven's 9th Symphony is yes, it is amazingly beautiful to listen to, but it also because we are equally super fans of Beethoven and what he was able to accomplish when we lost his hearing! He was able to replace what he heard with his imagination and his imagination was endless.

Beethoven's 9th is Fueled by principles of freedom and equality, he crafted the Ninth Symphony in an epic struggle between despair and transcendence to reach new heights with the words "all men become brothers." We recommend this timeless classic as the amazing SF Symphony will be accompanied by the Grammy Award-winning San Francisco Symphony Chorus!

The story centers on the enduring relationship between a boy and his stuffed rabbit. Told from the perspective of the rabbit that yearns to become real, the story explores the deep bond that the boy and rabbit develop over time in spite of the rabbit's increasing shabbiness. The Velveteen Rabbit's message is timeless. This is a great production to see with your kids and your family!

We are excited about this production because for the first time Red Curtain Addict will be joining ODC/Dance at a special precursor event leading up to the performances.
