The Tony Award nominations for the 76th annual ceremony have been announced!  This year's celebration will be held on June 11th at the iconic United Palace hosted by Lea Michele (from Funny Girl) and Myles Frost (from MJ the Musical) and we couldn't be more excited!

A grand total of 38 productions made the cut this year with Some Like It Hot at the top with 13 nominations, including Best Musical. We absolutely loved this show and have to say, we haven't laughed so hard at a show in a very long time. If you haven't seen it yet, definitely go! It's a must, as you can see with its 13 nominations!

Watch our red carpet coverage highlights from 2021!

Ain't No Mo' and Leopoldstadt are officially tied for the most-nominated plays, with six each, putting them in the running for Best Play. Which show will you be rooting for?

The Tony Awards will also be honoring some true trailblazers in the industry, including director-choreographer Jerry Mitchell, who will receive the Isabelle Stevenson Special Tony Award. And let's not forget about the Tony Honors for Excellence, which will go to production stage manager Lisa Dawn Cave, executive director of TDF Victoria Bailey, and theatrical accountant Robert Fried.
