Pene and Amina have been Adler Fellows with the San Francisco Opera for two years and have won the hearts of Bay Area opera enthusiasts. You may have seen them in San Francisco Opera's Rigoletto, La Traviata, Aida, Madam Butterfly and much more! Now, we have the chance to keep them local.
Recently they have been given the opportunity to acquire permanent residency in the U.S. but that comes with a pretty large price tag, $8K to be exact. On Friday, November 24th Pene and Amina will be performing an exclusive concert at the Steinway Piano Gallery in hopes to raise funds to alleviate the costs of their green card application.
Their friend and former Adler-fellow Ronny Greenberg will be joining them to accompany their special program on piano with music from Tosti, Puccini, Bizet and Massenet along with a few surprises. Bites, kindly donated by Alexander Steakhouse, and wine will be served during the pre-reception!
