The Curran will be presenting the west coast premiere of THE JUNGLE, a performance that captures the stories of refugees and migrants that lived in a makeshift camp on the border of France in 2015. Throughout this theatrical drama, you will be submerged into scenes that are definitely eye-opening and profound. In addition to this meaningful story about hope, survival and courage you are going to be amazed at their experiential 360 set.

Instead of a typical theater layout, the Curran theater has completely transformed their space into an intimate cafe where the storyline takes place all around you. Audiences can even sit at the tables of the restaurant where cast members interact and surround with dramatic scenes. If you are a fan of The Crown, you might be excited to find out that the Directors of this Netflix success (Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin) are the amazing Directors of THE JUNGLE - so get ready for a drama that is quite impactful and definitely memorable.
If you're looking for a fun way to get your kiddos out of the house and experience classical music at a young age, this event is exactly that. Curated by Resident Conductor Christian Reif, this concert has been programmed to spark curiosity and fun throughout the afternoon. The program includes John Williams' Hedwig's Theme from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Saint-Saens' The Swan from The Carnival of the Animals, excerpts from Stravinsky's The Firebird Suite and more!
