Did you know The Lion King is based on Shakespeare's Hamlet? We are celebrating Shakespeare's birthday and life (he died on his birthday at age 52). Here is a fun fact about Shakespeare: he was married to Anne Hathaway...not Princess Diaries, Anne Hathaway (although she was named after her).

1. Attend a show at American Shakespeare Center
American Shakespeare Center has productions of Romeo & Juliet and Comedy of Errors until May 15, including on April 23rd, Shakespeare's birthday. The American Shakespeare Center is the world's ONLY re-creation of Shakespeare's indoor theatre.
2. Attend a show at Shakespeare's Globe (For London Shakespeare Lovers!)
In London check out the reconstruction of the Globe Theatre. On Shakespeare's birthday you can see Much Ado About Nothing and soon you can see Julius Caesar. Did you know that the Globe Theare was built in 1599 by Shakespeare's playing company?
3. Stream Shakespeare-inspired movies on Disney+
